Why we support ARHF – and how you can help save lives

For many years now, we’ve quietly supported a charity that does extraordinary work in some of the most underserved parts of the world.

Today, we’d like to tell you a little more about them — and why their work matters so much to us.

WHO ARE ARHF?

The Amma Resonance Healing Foundation (ARHF) is a small, volunteer-led charity working across sub-Saharan Africa to improve health and resilience in communities with little or no access to conventional healthcare.

Their work focuses on malaria prevention, trauma support, and strengthening immunity — particularly for children.

Because ARHF is volunteer-driven, over 95% of all donations go directly to the people who need them most.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO US AT HSC

HSC has supported ARHF for many years, both through charitable donations and by providing free bottles and tablets so volunteers can continue their work on the ground in Africa.

This practical support helps ensure treatments can be delivered safely, affordably, and at scale — reaching communities that would otherwise have little or no access to care.

It’s a partnership we’re proud of and one we intend to continue.

THE AFRICA MALARIA PREVENTION PROJECT (AMPP)

One of ARHF’s key initiatives is the Africa Malaria Prevention Project. Malaria still claims hundreds of thousands of lives every year — most of them children under five. ARHF’s approach is:

  • Safe
  • Affordable
  • Easy to distribute
  • Scalable across entire communities
  • €20 can protect 200 people for a full year
  • €100 can provide malaria prophylaxis for an entire school of 1,000 children
  • No side effects, no resistance — as little as €0.10 per person per year

In 2024 alone, ARHF’s volunteer network helped deliver over 1.3 million treatments across Africa.

HOW CAN YOU HELP

By choosing to buy from HSC, you already help us continue our support for projects like this.

ARHF is now looking to broaden its donor base so its work can become even more sustainable and reach more communities in need.

If you feel moved to support work that makes such a tangible difference, we invite you to consider a direct donation — no matter how big or small.
